I don't want to offend any of the webmasters who have one of the many, many completly legit gambling sites But I am wondering if links from gambling/casino/poker related sites could harm my page at one time, since this is not only a profitable field for legit sites, but also for a lot spammy ones. My website is about "sweepstakes" and I think that gambling-sites are topically related and worth linking from. Do you think it's ok for my sweepstake-site to get links from gambling-related sites and blogs? Kind regards, Hans
Just be careful that you arent linking to linkfarms, remember its only whats on your website that can damage your ranking. Have your own unique content and you should do well.
I am also in your shoes, i run a poker site and i dont know who to really exchange links with. are there any way i can build my link base?
i think in your case it would be fine to link to gambling sites ... maybe if i was to link to one then it wouldnt be a good idea since my site is about hosting and not gambling.... topically similar websites are good to link to its only when you start to stray away from your own site contents then you should start to worry
