Gaining traffic to my blog?

I was using Yahoo! Answers to promote my blog, all of the content is hand written, I meerly answered questions with something like "[answer to question] You can find out more information about this at [my blog url]" and my account was banned, I was getting some good-traffic from Yahoo! Answers, I don't feel like having to create another account, so I'm looking for other ideas on gaining traffic. I gain small amounts from using Only Wire on my blog, so website bookmarking suggestions are a no because I am already doing that, I haven't done any article marketing yet, can anyone direct me in the right direction for doing that well? A guide maybe? Aside from that, does anyone have any good ideas on gaining traffic?

Yeah, do that, and if you have some free time you might try entrecard. 90% of the traffic you get from there is irrelevant, but you do get some quality traffic. Not very time efficient, but it can help you get started.

 

I've been doing that a bit, but I've had some trouble finding active blogs in the same niche as mine (Making money online) which aren't just, crappy referal blogs saying you can earn $1000/day from pay-per-sign up websites. :/

 

Thanks a lot for the link, yeh I've got some free time at the moment and I am able to multitask quite nicely having mutlipul mointers, so I will check it out, heck, any traffic is good-traffic for a new website (IMO) - Thanks for sharing.

 

There are tons of active "make money online" blogs out there. I made an email address just to subscribe to everyone i find. Check out mine while you at it. I comment on 10 blogs a day minimum.

The way you find make money online blogs is go to the big name blogs like shoemoney, johnchow, johncow, tylercruz, and imwithjoe. Visit the blogs of the bloggers that left comments. That's how I found over 30 blogs.

 

Wrie some high quality short articles and submit them to ezinearticles.com. This is a good way of generating quality traffic.
