Gaining Revenue for previous days later in the week?

Hey all,

I was monitoring my adense account today like every day, when I noticed something weird I have never seen before (this is my first month with adsene though btw).

It was inbetween updates, about 5 minutes after an update. I clicked Display Report, and for some reason my earnings went up by like a dollar today, but also added 50 cents to july 3rd, 80 cents to july 2nd, and 58 cents to july 1st.

Is it normal for it to go up for days 2-3 days ago like this? I have never noticed it do that before. Just curious =))

have been using the program for 3 weeks now and the last 4 days have been dismal value for the click thrus

so I wait in constipation for something better to come thru

 

The Adsense system is not real time. So sometimes it takes a few days for things to clear up.

 

They have been known to go back and "correct" days in the past. It is not common, but it happens.

I must admit, I have been a tad annoyed because it has been half the amount of the previous days for the last 3 days for the same amount of click thrus.

this led me to do a tester article with relevant keywords to see its performance. I created an article gave it a new channel and I will wait to see the results.

Even though this happend, last 3 days have actually been my best days ever on adsense, broke the 80 dollar a day mark with 89 bucks(about 20 dollars higher then my last high)

 

Actually, my traffic has been down this weekend, most likely due to the holiday weekend.

 

We are seeing lower numbers over the weekend but everything should be back to normal tomorrow.

 

the click thrus have been fine it is the value paid for the clicks that have been lousy.

 

ya i have seen the same things happenned to me and i have never truly understood it until you guys have explained it now.

heh atleast i know now to look back to see actually end of day results rather than trusting what i see at that moment.

it is never up to date anyways. always seems to lag 30mins to 1 hr for me.

Sometime they investigate clicks and put the amount on hold, so that they don't have to bill advertisers in case something was wrong. - A sort of precaution sometimes.

 

it usually lags about 2-3 hours behind for me.. I am using ASREP right now to track stats. They never match up.
