Gaining links without wasting time!

    Hey guys. I am a little new to this whole linking business. I have never really
    needed to do it. I mean, my one major site that ranks highly just sort of
    somehow went to the top on it's own. Anyway, I was just looking for some
    help here. I want to gain links, but I don't want to waste my time.

    What are some ways to gain high quality links? Are there good programs to use
    to find sites in my niche so I can comment on those sites? Any other
    recommendations?

    link building is extremely time consuming task. if you dont wanna spend any time on link building, then you can outsource your link building projects. below are some ways to create backlinks:

    directory submission
    article submission
    blog commenting
    press release
    social bookmarking
    forum posting with signatures
    buying hardlinks
    squidoo lens
    hubpages...and more

    You can create back links by posting on forums, it wont be a waste of time because you would be learning as you are gaining back links

    @ttomp13 if you want to build your links faster choose the blog posts in your niche and comment on them.You should post relevant comments so that you are not labelled as spams.You can use dofollow search engines as well as threads in DP to find such blogs.You will not only get good links but you will also get some good traffic from them.

    Links without work?? Yes it is very possible, but you will first need to do work on some tool or widget or content that will be so useful and new in your niche, that people will link to you to let their visitors know of this tool. It would help if website owners could put this tool on their pages as well...
