Gaining fans for my page

I have a page for my website: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Chat-Source/225687137474639 Does anyone have any tips or anything to advertise the page more? I've sent out a dozen statuses for people to join it but they're all too lazy. >.<

 

Just go to Microworkers.com and create new job asking people to "like" your page. You can pay each worker for $0.05 to $0.10 per job.

 

I'll give that a try. Does anyone else have any other suggestions?

 

I am sure someone has asked/responded to some similar posts. In short, you can

1 - invite your friends
2 - you offline contacts
3 - ppc in FB
4 - run campaigns
5 - send invite to your email list 
6 - put your FB Page on you name cards, stationery etc 

And I am sure there are many more ways ...


 

 

I have a page where I got around 50-80 likes in a day! What did I do? Easy...
1 - Like other pages and leave some comments on the pages
2 - If you're not logging in as your page but as your own profile, when you leave some comments, make some tagging of your page because people usually attracted to the 'Blue Words'
3 - Don't just post status. Post pictures and videos also. This help a lot. My tips: Funny or unique pictures. Funny videos or videos which will attract people to watch. Also you can post some movies trailers. Just go to youtube, find some videos, take the link and share it.

When your fans reaches 1000, trust me then the fans will increase automatically. At one point, I didn't log in my page for 3 days and when I logged in, I was surprised to see the 1K notifications.

 

Microworkers is a great site, but it depends on how many you are looking for and how quickly. Do you just want to grow steadily?

 

I am completely agree with danialzerox, and once that you do what he says, try purchasing some facebook-advertising, just for test, the reception, something that happen to me is that I had to run several fanpages to find one that became viral. Good luck!!

 

you should like other people pages too and leave your comments there. try to upload some funny and interesting videos and images. and add active facebook friend in your list. most of id in facebook are now fake.

 

Exchange fans with friends, your work will easy more than you think.
