When people are running from pillar to post to reduce their weight and weight loss is the one of the most searched keywords in google, here is a case of weight gain.
Take high fat (ice cream!) and energy rich diet to gain weight but check your body mass index. Too much will make you fatty and obese! Good luck :)

I guess if its anything goes on eating and you do not care about health. You could eat at mcdonalds 6 times per day. drink 2 to 3 liters of pop per day and always supersize everthing. Don't just order one meal have 2 or 3. You could be lugging it.

A rigorous work-out schedule should help you with that. Eat mad amounts of bread, fiber, protein, peanut butter. Anything with protein is good but you HAVE to stay consistent. If you don't stay consistent, all your goals will be futile an worthless, Good Luck!

Protein bars are great if you get the tasty kind some of them are pretty crap and unhealthy though.

Anyway nuts and seeds are a very healthy way to add lots of calories.

For your money you are much better off getting a protein shake, many of the bars are pure and utter crap.

I'd personally get your nutrition in check first before throwing in random protein bars and such. Eat protein rich sources, but have some fat added. If you're trying to gain weight I don't see the point in eating overly lean meats. Fat within reason is a good thing, it is needed and is a healthy part of your diet. Good carbs of course.

You having such a fast metabolism will be able to catch it pretty easily in time 'if' you started gaining to much fat to easily adjust your calorie input.

Do not do a ton of cardio, if you're trying to gain weight there isn't much point besides trying to keep your cardio/endurance health up.

Start lifting slow and steady, go for medium range reps, most importantly listen to your body.
