The layout and design is nice but it is unclear exactly what your site is about, you should have some text at the top of the page explaining to your visitors what your site is about.
I'll second kingofsanda, its got some cool content though. Also the banner at the top has some alignment issues on my computer (Mac OS X 10.5, Firefox browser).
Love the domain and man I'm a sucker for black and white layouts. Hate joomla. The site is really good and I bookmarked it for content.
First time I went it gave me a 500 error Refreshed and got a blank page Refreshed again and got the following DB function failed with error number 2006 MySQL server has gone away SQL=SELECT `title` , `introtext` , `fulltext` FROM jos_content WHERE state = 1 LIMIT 0,100 SQL = seems there is a slight problem
Overall it looks ok with the 3 column design and with the white plain background. Incorporate some colors in order to change the style a bit. It also needs a logo to make it stand out from the rest of the gadget blog
