GA - Uniques disappear when I add a filter, why?

    In Google Analytics if I go to the visitor overview and add a filter the absolute unique visitors gives me N/A.

    This worked fine up until the end of last week; does anybody have any idea what's changed?

    What filter are you trying to apply ?

    It should not happen because GA uses visits to filter out data and not the visitors !
