Ok.. so I want a new laptop. I need/really could use one for my school next year, and for some of the programs.. it has to be PC. So Im going to get a PC laptop, but I just saw this thing from a local school here, and they are selling a used, but should be in good condition G3 500Mhz iBook, with 320MB of RAM, a 10GB HD, Wireless card, and Mac OSX 10.2.8. So, should I try to buy one? Its a one-day only sale on the 9th. I've wanted to have a mac for a while, but should I just wait and save for a newer one? Or I could try to sell it on eBay.. compirable iBooks are going for around $150-$200 on there. Anyway.. any advice is welcome (I think my Mom is going to buy one, she needs a laptop just for word processing and stuff, so it doesn't need to be the latest and greatest.. so this should work good for her.) I know nothing about it but I'd say for that price get it. If it doesn't meet your needs you can probably ebay it and break even at least
Yeah.. its one per person, but since I can't drive myself there / age discrimination.. but thats another topic ) I could probably get two. Yeah, thats what I was leaning twoards. If nothing else, I could always sell it, or just tear it apart and learn the innards of an apple notebook Josh
