Hi, anybody been having this problem.. Google webmaster Tools , shows one of my major keywords as having a position of 5 in SERPS. This is very good because gosh I've been working on it for months against competition right.. well , here's the problem - It doesn't exist in the google SERPS, yet , it says it does. Is this a look ahead on Webmaster Tools ,or say a possible future look-see of what your SERP will become? Or are there evil peoples at Google snickering about all of us SEO peoples saying = "Yay!" ..and then =
could be that's it not in .com, but is performing well in another google? (.co.uk, .ca, whatever) - or even in image search? If you download thw query stats data, that should tell you.
Google also does geotargeting based on where you are searching from. So it may be #5 in one data center, but not in another. Good rankings in at least one data center is a good sign though. More work may get you rankings across other datacenters.
hi , thanks for response All locations,All searches = #5 and (United States) = #5 Yet, I'm not seeing it anywhere on 1st ,2nd , 3rd etc G. pages Possible that its been geotargeted by state, but I dont know where that would be showing.
