I am curious to know that, why there is no crawl stats in Google Webmaster tool for my website, but it still appears in results?
I guess it was activated couple of months ago, but I added my new site few days ago (less than a week).
there are stats as what was indexed, but not what google-bot-sees. I guess they will display more data in a month time.
If Google is not crawling your site and you want Google to crawl your site. You should follow the webmaster guidelines as put forth by Google. I think the 3 items below are very import. 1. Create Google webmaster account. (which you obviously have done). 2. Verify site 3. Create sitemap 4. Insert sitemap Google seems to come around and check your site map within minutes to a few days. I usually will have a site begin to see crawl stats within a week of doing the following. If a week goes by and no luck I would resubmit the sitemap.
@alphamonk: Yes I have already submitted the sitemaps. The latest is that, the stats are visible, site got indexed, but the sad part is that, my website fall from the google's ranking. The reason was that, the stats in webmaster tool have been delayed more than 48 hours for display and for the ranking as well. Anyways, I hope to get back on the good position (SERP), because GoogleBOT is still eating bandwidth form my website.
the reason is that, google takes around a week or so to update the stats for a website. I assume that google do couple of test with the data for SERPs.
