For my not-yet-developed domains, I thought I'd just try cash parking, but I'm reading that G might give you a serp ranking penalty (ie maybe in the sandbox?) for doing so. I only parked domains that were not indexed, and now that they are parked G has indexed a few of them, so it doesn't seem to me (initially at least) that they ding you..... Any opinions or experience regarding this? Thank you.
I have not experienced this yet. Who are you going through with the cash parking? If nothing else why not try out the Adsense for domains on your parked sites?
I think it may be against adsense terms and conditions to use adsense on a parked domain. I believe the guy who took Google to court over $721 owing to his banned adsense account got banned for using adsense on parked domains. If your parked domain content has a lot of affiliate links or redirects I wouldn't be surprised if you get penalized.
4chp, thanks for the link. I didn't even know adsense had a service especially for parked domains. I guess they can't help but go after that parked domain traffic that was only going to spam ad networks.
Your welcome Yeah they brought it in not to long ago. Have yet to test it out myself but looks very promising considering I'm an domain-alholic.
Have just find out about Adsense for Domains, seems interesting though... Will give it a shot, thanks for the note '4chp'
Thanks for the link 4chp-- I was actually asking about a G serp penalty for cash parking domains, but this is interesting.
Any blog under a year old could just be getting hit by the sandbox effect. I have noticed listings bouncing between pages all the time. I hate how erratic the Google search engine is, but at the same time they do the best job of indexing quickly and so not having too depend on Google by looking at other ways to gain traffic is always a good idea.
