    Hi,

I have a problem which I cannot figure out.

One of my sites is not getting indexed by Google.

    http://www.arcadeshack.com

MSN shows 2,152 backlinks from 98 different IPs.
Yahoo shows 78,600 backlinks from 76 IPs. (one is a huge sitewide one)

I have links from three PR 5 pages as well as PR 4 pages.

    MSN 826 indexed pages.
    Yahoo 263 indexed pages.

In both MSN and Y it is doing very well and I get steady traffic.

I figured that maybe it hit a filter as I have "more than 100 links", actually 185 BUT I have seen other sites with the same PHP script doing well in Google, PR 3 and good amount of pages indexed. It is not worth the effort to change the amount of links so I would need to keep it like this.

In my earlier experience the amount of links that I got for the site brought PR 4 or even 5.

Also there is no problem with the adsense.

Domain changed owner to me in June 2005 and has earlier in 2004 been expired.

So please give me some theories. I am studying SEO and I want to understand everyhing, but this ...

    Thank you for the answer.

    Yes, it must be that!

I think I have a vague memory somewhere of reading an article or something about avoiding expired domains ... When I bought it, little did I know about that.

Anyway. Hope G soon will open the door for me and let me double the traffic!

I agree...think that is most likely the cause.
