    Hi,

so I have a site which has no links to it, and dead basicly, and it's 7 years old, hasn't had anything done to it for about 4 years.

if I rebuild it, get lots more links to it, more in and out bound links etc etc

would it have a chance of getting pr?

I'm sure it would, I don't see why not.
But then again, I don't know much about PR, SEO, and stuff like that.

I would guess it would be able to get a PR. I wouldn't see why it wouldn't be an option for the domain name just because it is aged.

Will the age of the domain effect it?

If you build back links, you will get PR. Think quality over quantity. The more quality back links you get the better the PR will be.

Age does have a small factor for PR but normally not if the site had no back links for the whole time.

As far as I know, age does not affect PR, but there is a theory that age affects SERPs.

why not... ofcourse you will get PR and domain age doesn't have any affect on PR ratio... it surely depends on the backlinks only...

I think it is actually the age of the links that matter more.
