This will help us webmasters understand our traffice, but i bet it will also help Google understand our traffic as well. I couldnt find anywhere in their TOS that said that they will not analyze OUR stats. this is the first time that they have been able to see what others aer serching for on the other search engines, and what areas they need to improve upon. These stats may not bring in cash directly to Google, but indirectly, i bet they will improve their search algos according to what they find people are using MSN and Yahoo for. Of cource i may just be missing the part of the TOS that says "google will not look at your stats.." but i dont see why not since there is nothing sensitive about the data being harvested. Anyway, that is my two cents about this. i just hope they bring my directory traffic back up to its level before the last Jagger... this is killing me.
