FYI: Signup for adCenter not working in Firefox

Just an FYI. I just tried signing up for Microsoft's adCenter using Firefox, but it failed twice in a row. Using IE 7 worked. Man alive, they got lots of scripting on those couple simple pages. I got my IE locked down hard, so it prompted me about 25 times to let it run a bunch of scripts.

Hope this helps someone from wasting 20 mins like I did wondering WTH...
    Cheers!

Yeah, it's been giving me Hell since the update. Not that it didn't give me Hell before the update and not that I don't expect it to give me Hell in general. I expect adCenter to be a piece of crap at this point, but it's worth echoing at every opportunity (in case anyone reading isn't sure) until they get their heads on straight and build a working application instead of a "fancy" one that doesn't work.

I ran into this, too. Another reason I don't really care for it. I found that to be pretty ridiculous.

Doesn't seem to be working on Safari either (at least, the older version I'm running for 10.3.9). I can't imagine why Microsoft would want to block these two browsers from using their advertising network!

It makes me laugh that they deny people the right to sign up to their network using any program other than IE. Oh well...

    Hey guys,

I had a login issue with google adwords. When I tried to sign in with the Firefox Browser, it didnt work...but with IE7 it work though. I then thought, ok its gotta have to do something with the Addons so I disabled the ones I most thought would interupt my login process and et voila...Ad Block Plus was giving me all the trouble..as good as it blocks all the ads but it messes up my Login so I always disable it restart my Firefox and login without any Problems. i know that you were talking about the Microsoft Adcenter, but it might still be the same issue.

    Cheers and good luck

I thought adcenter didnt have any restrictions about the country. Canadians can, I think.

AdCenter worked fine for me after i disabled Adblock plus. It will block many components and images because of the word "Ad" in the filenames, and obviously when a site is called "AdCenter" it will contain that keyword causing Adblock to not download the file, so just disable it. Then again, i vote for hating microsoft and not wasting your time with a horrible company yet genius monopoly.

It won't work if you use Opera either.
