This is my little info about AccountNow dot net (get all the details about their service on their site).

I, personally, use AccountNow. I mean, don't know what else you want to know about it. It's just like any other bank account.

I used it to verify my PayPal account some years ago and was then able to get the PayPal debit card. I don't know but I felt more comfortable attaching that bank account to my PayPal and RME account over my primary bank account with another bank. That's just me.

Anyway, just thought you all would want to know about another bank to use if you don't want to use your primary one to attach to your PayPal or RME accounts. And you can even send another AccountNow member money via a little feature they have in the login area. Neat. I believe most banks you'd have to go into the location in order to do a bank wire transfer like that.

So let's say you're selling a website and it sells for $7498.24. If your buyer has an AN account you can request them to send you money via AN versus PayPal. It's quick, secure and instant and can be done online. The accounts comes with a debit card with a MC or Visa logo on it. So it's a win/win situation. Definitely wouldn't have to worry about some crazy a** chargeback nor fraudulent/unauthorized disputes especially after you've delivered the website. I like AccountNow. Very convenient and makes me comfortable. Oh it is only available for US residents though.

Their site is AccountNow dot net. Always wondered why they went with a '.net' extension over the '.com'. I mean, even if it were taken why not just come up with a company name where the '.com' wasn't taken? Whatever, right.

Who here already has an account with AN? And how do you like it so far?

I've been using the free Account Now for a few weeks now and I'm also a fan. It's easy to get paid my free PayPal money via direct deposit and it allows me to accept funds via various get paid to sites and have direct access via my Account Now preloaded MasterCard. I didn't realize however that they'd charge an almost $10 fee for my first direct deposit of only $79.25 however.

Nonyf: Nice to see that someone else here uses it. Started to think I was the only one here on DP. hehe. I was charged the $9.95 on my first use. So I take it that's what you were charged, too. If so, then that's just their activation fee. Everyone is charged that fee unless they set up a recurring direct deposit, then activation is free. At least that's what I read on their site.

XiNiX: Hey you're welcome. Yea I had put that in my first post that it's only available to US residents. But maybe you can share that information to people you might know that lives in the US.
