It looks like you are saving with to much compression. If you are using Microsoft Paint you may not be able to specify the quality you want, try Adobe Photoshop or Paint.NET (which is free software http://www.paint.net/).

Fuzzy? I think it's OK. If you need a very clear picure, then the file size will be big.

A clear image of that resolution would not be too big.

I've just had a look at your site in a couple of different browsers and I can't see much of a problem. I've certainly seen images that look a lot worse in the banners of websites - yours seems quite clear on my screen.

If anything I would suggest what has already been mentioned which is looking at the amount of compression being used.

    Hope that helps,
    Bex

Looks fine, could be a bit better quality. As you compress an image more and more it looses detail, a higher quality jpeg or a png could be just what you need.

yea I can definitely tell the text is compressed more than normal. If you did it in photoshop set your jpg compresssion a little higher when you have text in your image...

When you say banner I assume you mean the 50% off heading?

If so, that is definately a Jpeg with too much compression. It may look OK on some displays/resolutions but it is definately noticeable on my system.

Considering the rest of the site is immaculate I would look at re-doing it with less compression.

(I know you didn't ask about this but the "Live chat online" moving link gets a bit annoying!)
