    we know those who registered keyword .coms back in late 90's and early 2000's have made what has turned out to be amazing investments now worth 5, 6 and possibly 7 figures. do you hand-register .coms now and plan to keep them long term with the view they may be worth many thousands in the future?

    some do it purposely and some just do have plans in the future but failed to do it and eventually sell the domain. Premuim domains are worth keeping though

    he probably mean manually register.

    I've seen too many companies bypass cyber squatters by using their offline marketing budget - the domain would have to be pretty awesome to make me want to buy and hold.
