Future plans of Google Analytics

Does anyone know if Google has plans to make Analytics live? They typically don't post results for 24 hours, but other programs like some free php based (or open source) like PHP MyVisites do have live stats. I know it isn't a big deal really but I have a few clients that are so excited to see the stats that it would be cool to fire the code up on a site and watch the first few visitors come through live. Just curious if anyone has heard anything or knows where to point me to get info on the Analytic program in general? I have tried the Google Webmaster blog with little to no success.

    Thanks in advance...

It would be nice, but thinking about it, they would have to process MASSIVE amounts of Data, we have one site that has 750k pageviews a day, and it takes google Analytics about 24 Hours to catch up on the numbers, and since many hosting companies like 1and1 come with Google Analytics "almost" build in, it would require massive processing power to get live numbers, i can see google coming up with a Premium service (BIG MAYBE) but other then that,m live is out of the question, but if you have a small site and use the date range slider, you can come pretty close to real time
