Dear Fellows, Hi, Did any one try this Future Page Rank Tool ? http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/future-pagerank/ Can we determine future page rank from this tool waiting for replies. Thanks
It isn't a page rank predictor, It merely reports your PR from all datacenters which may tell you if an update is under way
It's not so much 'future', it just quesries the different datacentres and give syou the highest value found (I think). It's total bollocks if you think like it being able to tell you what your PR will be. It's more useful during an 'update' than anything else. For a real prediction you need to know link building trends, something that involves so many variables they wouldn;t be able to calculate it accurately.
Well according to two tools i have used including this one http://www.rustybrick.com/pagerank-prediction.php my PR is going to go from 3 to 8/10 lol i want to see what i will really get. When it comes to this one http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/future-pagerank/ During the PR update when it jumps up and down it will tell you your real PR
This is the one I like. It seems more like a prediction tool. It seems to be pretty accurate from what I would expect too... But, I don't know how it works. It must be some guess, I'm sure since only Google knows. http://www.searchengineengine.com/
http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/future-pagerank/ is the correct one, it analyzes several datacenters and shows any PR variations http://www.rustybrick.com/pagerank-prediction.php is just a dumb toy which newbies use and believe it is accurate and get all excited about the PR they are suposed to be getting, I have no idea why Rusty created that thing or why it still exists
Don't be so fast to dismiss this tool. I checked one of my interior pages just now and it reported back: Your current Google PageRank is 4. Based on our calculations, we predict your future PageRank after the next Google update will be 10. After the next update I plan on selling text links! Yippee!
The original one posted for seochat seems to be fairly accurate for the simple fact that it queries the different DCs which update at different intervals and during a public-wide update, the PRs from the various sources average out. But like ysf1 pointed out, it is more of a "now" tool; however, I do find that it can be a little "forward-looking", again, because the different indicies update at different times. The second one didn't seem too far fetched ... - this is pretty consistent with the ten sites that I ran through it; nothing to extreme up or down. For anyone anxious to sell links based on PR - beware; changes are on the horizon IMO that will crack down on this practice in a big way and in the very near future.
