Future of NNNNN.coms

I don't know where are we heading with NNNNN.coms

I see many 5N.coms dropping everyday though they are being caught instantly.
I see many sellers selling 5N.coms for $10 each which have almost a year before they expire.

Could someone throw some light on it

I really can't shine any light your way, I see them selling for under $6 in bulk, every week.

It's starting to look like a long term investment.

Unless they're postcodes or some meaningful numbers, I don't really see too much of a bright future for random NNNNN.com names.

Yes, I still agree with this.
Anyway I guess that last sentence of the article you linked can show what's the point with this thread (OP, please feel free to say I totally went wrong in guessing your thoughts!)

"in the coming years",not "by right now".
Maybe there've been a while in the recent past when they might be supposed to grow in value really faster than the current way, so that it might sometimes be surprising to have still such low reseller prices..

The NNNNN.coms are way underpriced. Because the market do not have the vision to realize their potential. if NNNN.coms are selling for $500 a pop, then NNNNN.coms are $50 a pop. Numerics always have higher value then Letters. This is the same concept for a random NNN to LLL. Buy them while you can. They are absolute steal if you see anything below $50.

    I completey agree with that

    Yesterday I bought a NNNNN.com with 3 repeating numbers like 12311 (just an example) for $20 ;)
