First b5media network started some video oriented blogs and now Darren of problogger have posted his own "vidcast". All these changes have produced lot of doubts regarding the future of blogs. I wonder what changes will talk place in next 12-24 months.
Has this thought crossed any other members of the dp forum?
Any suggestions, thoughts and ideas are welcome.

Well, what I understand is that in the next few months many people will enter into the world of blog networks. Second thing is that vidcast will increase and so too podcast but the number of commercial blogs will increase a lot and many of them will die down too. There will be many people like me who spend more than 8 hours after blogging.

Technology is always changing but I don't think the essential concept of blogging will change. Basically people want to share their thoughts and interests and nobody is going to take that away from them. I reckon the future of blogging becomes even more exciting when you start to think about things like vidcasting

For websites, then it moved over to blogs.
Now it is video on websites, so naturally it will move over to blogs.
The forerunners of blogs using video are the porn blogs.

If I had a choice between a poor porn blog and a clean good blog with adsense, I would take the porn in a heartbeat.
Say what you will, porn sites make more money than sites with adsense.
What is the most searched term on the net?
SEX and all the variations thereof.
