I saw this ad on my page today. (Dating site) Where in Malaysia/Indonesia 'Gadis' means young girls. I guess eBay just ran across popular keywords and put it after the 'Buy & Sell' line. Why would anybody want to sell his 'gadis'?
That's nothing. I once came upon an ad wanting to sell me a Space shuttle! I also think a couple of years back there was something about selling slaves or the like... but I'm not too sure about that.
It's a referral link for ebay. Someone uses adword and get many cheap keywords like gadis and make them display in the title of their ad, in adwords you simply have to write: Buy & Sell {KeyWord:Anything} and it will replace {KeyWord:Anything} by the keyword searched on google, or will replace it with the word you put after keyword, in this example: Anything. The people doing that hope to get a god commission from ebay for referring new users to them, so they pay low keywords in many countries.
They're not actually selling young girls or space shuttles. It's just anything you search for automatically shows up as being "sold" on Ebay.
Here's some more from my joke site: This one's from yahoo. Pretty appropriate LOL Then again, Ebay has nothing for sale sometimes too: And more...
that's nothing, one day I was parusing through some articles on space.com and it was an article about Uranus ..... well, you can imagine what kinds of adsense ebay ads were showing on that page "Find Uranus on eBay" I had a pretty good laugh at that one
