Funny Vids Site

Hey guys,

I started working on a new project. Its www.stopandlaugh.com. I need some advice though. This will be a wordpress blog and I was wondering if I should get content in the blog first before I start advertising it or should I get traffic and add content daily.

Also, where could I advertise this site?

You should put some content first before start advertising.
There no point if you advertising but when visitor visit your site,there nothing to see

 

I have some content there. How many videos should I have before I start anything else?

 

I would add more categories and have at least 2 pages of vids for each category. Categories could include funny animals, pranks, painful, drunks...etc.

Trade traffic and links with other entertainment sites. Contact other video sites, arcades, jokes, funny picture sites....etc.

If you're looking to purchase traffic, contact high traffic myspace resource sites directly and try to strike a deal.

Yes but first try adding lot of videos/content then try to make your blog popular and when people start pouring in then you can start using adsense and other ways to earn

 

Don't worry about the profits at this stage. Work on getting the content and traffic. Once you have the traffic, making the money is the easy part

 

yeah im not really doing this for the profit atm. I am trying to make a successful site. All but one of my previous sites have failed. That one site was a proxy which now recieves 3k uniques and 8k hits a month. It isnt much but its the most I gotten out of any site. And Im still making 10c a day on it.

Anyways, Im having problems with wordpress atm but it should be fixed soon as I hired someone to fix it.

When I add more videos, how should I get more visitors? I added feedburner on there but I dont know if I installed it properly. Can anyone tell me if it works good?
