Selling Funny photos and comment site with awesome theme - Slappost.com

I'm selling my funny photo and comment site (think 9Gag.com) since I don't have time for it anymore.

The domain name is SlapPost.com, and I built the site's template myself. The idea was to have people upload stupid things they saw/found online and people would then "slap" it.

The domain expires in July so there's a long time left on the domain. I'll push it to your account for free and will send you the site's files and SQL database to import into your site.

I have AdSense on it (through Google's DFP Small Business) but only assume < $1 a month earnings.

EDIT: I got some of the same questions a few times through PM, so let me answer those here-

1) Most of the traffic is direct, though I had some SEO work and Digg posting a few months ago.
2) The script is built on Pligg though I have heavily customized the script and almost entirely spam-proofed it. This includes an image upload script that I purchased ($10) and modified.
3) I built the theme/template myself, and that comes with the site
4) The images from the submission go with the site too, and they aren't reposts that I'm aware of. They should be original/unique to the site so no copyright worries I imagine.

Its a direct traffic, from where is it coming ?

How do you market it ?

 

I had some SEO work done a few months ago, with backlinks and optimization, but the only social presence was from posting things to Digg.

 

But it shows as direct traffic and not referral traffic.Its not even from search engine. How do you justify the traffic ?

 

Most of the direct traffic comes from Pligg spammers who scrape for URL structures that match known Pligg default settings. They add those sites to a bot list to try to automate the registration and submission process. I didn't change my settings when I first set it up a few months ago so the site got added to their lists.

Since then I've almost entirely spam-proofed it. I re-wrote much of the script, from registration to submission to prevent this. ~20 direct visits still come every day, but only 2 or 3 spam submissions get through every week, but it used to be 200 a day.
