This is one of the nicest sites for sale on DP. It's a funny photo site, and it's only been live a few weeks, but I'm already seeing 150-200 UV a day consistently. I've had some good days with over 400 UV. It's already up to 4,887,419 on Alexa!

The domain is an exact match for 9900 google searches a month. Prime market for someone to take over!

This site needs some work on the SEO side of things and get ranked in google. Once ranked, it should really be a good earner. I'm selling because I need the money for another project. This is one of my favorite sites, and I don't really want to sell it, because I think it will eventually be a great site to own.

I just checked my keywords position on google today.

main keyword - page 1, #9 (top keyword, 9900 exact searches a month)
secondary keyword - page 2, #1
long tail keyword - page 1, #9

This is without any major SEO stuff at all! All I have done is posted in a few forums.
Just imagine if you could do some really good backlinks (pr5+, edu)!

Well, I need the money for another project, so I am torn about this. I have received a decent offer on it already, and really, even at the BIN, it is a really good deal, as this is a quality site that is starting to dominate all by itself.

FYI...Google doesn't like it when you have their company name in domain names. It's their trademark. Do a search for "can you use google in a domain name" and you'll see posts about this, where sites have been shut down because of it.

 

it depends, there are a lot of popular sites with google in the domain that have been up for years. If you are not competing with them directly, they generally don't have an issue. This site actually promotes funny things on Google services, and as such, is a benefit to them. There are lots of jokes sites with "google" in the domain, and for the most part, Google tends to leave them alone.

it posts 3 photos a day from Gmap. some are streetview, the rest are satellite images.

yeah, people don't tend to value sites that are on page 1 of google with increasing traffic, I guess...
