I just have to laugh at this, how does the guy expect someone to get backlinks??
The project is only around $200 too, you'd have to spend at least around an hour to get about 5.
    Let say

I found this one as well which is quite a beauty

In don't see anything funny about it.
A real SEO and link builder WILL get those links. Of course, 99% of amateurish so called "link builders" wont.
This is the difference. Such high quality links do exist.

Depends on the price, 100 PR3 for 100$ is stupid and it will get scammed after paying 100$. Everything is possible for the right price.

    those are classic links
you get them by contactin the website owner
but you can only get one link by a million hour work if you do it that way so what is the point?

Wow this is the most difficult task I ever read. More painful is the $200 project cost.

Yes, I bet there are multiple bids of $5 from people who have absolutely no clue on how to bulid links properly to meet the specifications. No way someone can get links that cheaply.

Believe it or not, there was a time where this was standard for link building practices. People actually got off their ass and contacted website owners individually for links. It was painful, but it worked, and it still works today. It's just very time consuming.

Correct. I suggest buyers to increase the budget so that provider can relax and give quality work.

U may find it Funny but if someone has a huge list of such quality pages or have few clients with high PR sites then its easy for them and can be done in 2 days.

It all depends whether you have the resources or not, if you have its easy and easy money.

I am not stumped at all by this. The budget is not there but I agree with Christian Little. They are simply requesting proper link building or brand based marketing. If you find their request funny, you are not a professional SEO provider, its that simple. It is not hard to contact site owners in vertical or complimentary markets.

Folks miss the mark by thinking you should contacting competitors for links. This is not accurate.

    hope that helps,
