Funny job requirement for SEO positon at marketing company

    This may not be funny to most of you, but I thought it was hilarious. To me, this says that that either the company doesn't understand SEO or that they have EXTREMELY high expectations for candidates.

    Here is the quote from the job description:

    "Develop and maintain direct relationships with key search engines to ensure optimal knowledge of current opportunities."

    it means the company wants their SEO guy to have a very nice contacts book, as well as the ability to bribe search engines to give them high rankings... ie. they have no idea how search engines work.
