funny, but true - dont post your keyword on DP

or it will outrank you.

Since DP is one of favourites of google (and may be others), if you put your keyword in any post here, you are creating a competing page for yourself and its not easy to beat DP

If you do, stick it in your signature and create a link to your site

 

Exactly, and you hate a site, and don't want it ranking for a certain keyword, then just post its keyword here.

 

I gave a thought to it and it seems that (from SEO perspective) one generally hates their competitor sites and posting their keyword here also means its 'your' keyword. Unless one has other reasons to hate a website.

 

I’ve nether thought of that… I can imagine how hard it would be to try and beet DP

 

Happened to me for a few new sites I developed, DP outranked them for a few months

 

sometimes its help look at this keyword credit cards directory at google

 

Omg... LOL - the site http://www.creditcardsfiles.com/ isn't even in top100, but DP is top7 - http://www.creditcardsfiles.com/

This is so true. DP is showing in SERPs for many diverse KWs

 

I thought DP had no follow's for the sigs?
