awesome idea for a site!! perhaps have some graphics on there, for example an image for each category?
Pretty good, however I think you should change your content text in the center of your page to something different besides light blue because it looks like your whole page is filled with links. I would suggest a color different from your side bar color text.

Nice idea and nice site too but I have a question for you. You have many facts there about different things, how can we trust that the facts are valid or you just published them without any proof? Getting my point? For example, on your site it says under "Country Facts" that 10 percent of the Russian government's income comes from the sale of vodka. If this fact was written on Yahoo.com or some other big site we could trust the info but how can we trust the info given on your site? May be you should put link(s) to the authority sites from where you got the info. This is for the betterment of your site and people's trust on the info.
I trust the facts, they appear around the web in many forms. I originally had a fact database, however I've added my own. However, looking at news articles, etc, you can find if its true or not, but usually in case of the russian vodka one, I'd think that was tax off international sale of vodka products.

Correct, also, if you do not trust a fact, then you can quickly find out through Google as I just did.
