FunkyProxy: Over a year old - $xxx revenue/month

I'm thinking about selling FunkyProxy:

Been up since June 06 so it's a really established proxy.
Custom/Unique logo & design (by myself)
Revenue is high and growing. Last month is made just about $400:

(note I have blurred out some figures as per adsense's TOS)
Note I do not have any other ads, only adsense on the homepage so there is oppertunity for adding other ad network ads to the proxied pages. I have read some people make more money on other networks than they do on adsense concerning proxies!

Uses 800GB bandwidth / month, not much resources though.
Statistics I do not have -- I run VHCS on my dedicated server and there is no stats program on this. If you like I do have stats available for previous months (before I was running VHCS):

Adsense also records some impressions, not all of them (obviously a lot of visitors will have adblock on or something) - see above.


IMPORTANT: I have recently changed the script (last couple of days) to my own custom one. Previously it was phproxy, you will recieve this and not my custom one. This is not up for discussion.

I assume the 800GB bandwidth usage was just for Sept ?

While seeing this screen shot I failed to see why would it suddenly increase from an average of 100Gb or max of 149Gb / month up to 800GB

Did you consider limiting max file size in your php proxy script before changing it ?

Also what is the current script and how much to get it from the original seller (as you are not offering yours for sale)

Also interested in the bandwidth usage for the past 2 days after applying the new script

Sorry, I didn't get notified of your post.

I'm not sure why banwidth surged, perhaps the script was configured wrong. Current bandwidth for this month has just been 11.48 GB. Not sure what that's down to either TBH.

The script is custom made by my partner and was never for sale.

I am confused....you are selling the site with a different proxy script on it? What impact is this going to have on CTR and traffic? I don't understand.

Basically I only changed the script a day or two before I started this auction, so all the stats you see in the first post are using the old script.

If you win I can integrate the design into any version of any proxy script you might have (be it Zelune, phpProxy, glype, cgi proxy etc) (for free of course).

I changed pretty much every proxy I own to use the new script, it is custom coded.

What is different about your script? Im sure your success with the proxy, and might I add you have very nice numbers considering its a proxy, has something to do with the modifications you made, no? Im more interested in your modified script!

Like I said the script has only changed very recently. So all the success has been made on phproxy. The script is not modified, it is custom from scratch, and it is definitely not for sale - sorry about that.

So, it is safe to say since the content/functionality of the site is going to be different, that the earnings and traffic will change? I don't get how you are going to try to sell a website based on what it "used" to be. Im not crapping your thread, I promise. I just don't think that is a fair thing to do.

 

He is saying that it used to run on phproxy - Now it runs on his new script but only for the last 2 days - He is selling it with phproxy NOT HIS SCRIPT so it will be the same as all the stats show and the proxy when you receive it will be as it has been since june 2006.

Just a little tip here

I think you may have blurred out the wrong parts as i think you need to blur out clicks aswell because with clicks still there you can easily work out the page ctr and ecpm.
