Funds on temporary hold [ Paypal ]

Guys, my funds in Paypal are on temporary hold due to this dispute/chargeback whatever you call it. Right now my balance is on negative, and I have a question.

Right now, my balance is -100+, now if someone gives me 200$, am I able to send money already?

    Replies will be appreciated, thanks.

If someone give you $200, you can get $100 in your account. And then you can sent $100 to another account which you want.

But, the best solution is you must resolve the problem 1st with your buyer and paypal, contact paypal support via phone call about the reason for holding your payment.

Are your paypal account get limited or not? If not, I think you can transfer and recieving payment with your paypal account.

    The scenario is like this:

Someone paid me and then his account got limited, all payments he sent were on charge back status.

But, your paypal account not limited, right? If yes, you can send or reciving payment.

Add money into your paypal account and it will not be on temporary hold again, reason for temporary hold is because it violates Paypal terms of no negative balance.

no paypal dont limit a account for -tive balance.... it have to be something else.... adding money will not remove the limits either... he has to submit his documents... beside its strange how a reversal left his account 100 negative... because only the fees amount will show as -tive... and as far i know for $100 fees the amount should be really huge... so i want to know what is the amount paypal put hold on it....

Actually, the User Agreement states that

Actually, I believe it is possible. Most people here do not keep a lot of money or any money in their paypal account and may withdraw them as soon as it is possible to do so. How many people actually have balances in their paypal accounts anyways apart from a couple of dollars.

He could have had someone paid him $100+ and he withdraw the total funds from his account immediately leaving his account with a $0 balance. Then that person launched a chargeback or dispute which he did not win for that amount and thus his account goes into a negative (-$100) balance. He did not fund the account to remove the limitation and thus it remains that way.

No, but it's not requiring my action anymore. I did not do anything with it, they e-mailed me 3 times but I did not resolve as I don't know what to choose (I haven't shipped the item yet, I gave him/her a refund, blah blah blah) and right now the status is Awaiting Other Party's Response but I'm kind of worried since my counterparty is Indo Internet Services. What the fuck?

what's the usual reason for cases like this? why is it there's the so called unauthorized payment? i thought it's just like paying a bill online, type in there your name, address, cc number or paypal, etc.. then payment send. why is it? :D

I faced the same thing, they just freeze the amount the other party send to I take action giving the information immediately, the other party took 3-4 weeks before Paypal decides it is alright, nothing you can do except wait, I know it is frustrating!

It could be a stolen credit card which the account holder reported to the bank or a chargeback being issues by the card holder. It is possible that the paypal account was stolen and hacked or Paypal flagged it as the transaction may be deemed to be against their AUP.
