hey I am " verified " paypal user , I use credit card to verify it Today , i tried to send payment and I got this : " In accordance with Indian regulations, funds in your PayPal balance cannot be used to send payments. Please use your credit or debit card to make purchases and send payments. " I don't wanna pay with my cc , I wanna pay with my funds like I always do , wa's the problem ?
Paypal has had a lot of problematic people to deal with, they are the largest payment processing company in the world I imagine. My suggestion to you is to pick up the telephone and call them. They are great to deal with, as long as you do legitimate business, treat them well and try your best. I know they changed their policies recently regarding India due to the volume of fraudulent transactions and problematic accounts in India along with whatever other challenges there are with the cross border interaction with financial and law enforcement institutions. It makes sense that they want you to use credit cards to make payments, as lots of people shuffle money through accounts in an attempt to get away with paying for things with money that doesn't belong to them. If you have been a verified member with Paypal for a long time, they might be able to do something for you, otherwise I suggest getting a reloadable credit/debit card, as you should be able to purchase things with your paypal account, such as that, then you can send the payments you need to.
Have you gave them your PAN number? I try to withdraw fund in bank account and i see PAN no. is must. Yo can not use balance without adding PAN number.
May be you are unaware not just the op but also every Indian paypal user can only sends funds with their cc.
