Selling Function Room site for sale

Hi,

I recently listed this site but had no joy selling it.

The site has a custom script - Paid around $200 for it.
It has a back office system for both the admin and the people who sign up.

One company has signed up and listed a couple of venues - they have venues throughout the country.

The site gets hits from various search terms but they are along the lines of "function rooms in {city name}".

The site did previously rank on page 1 and 2 but ive not touched it in about 6 months if not longer. This could be a great little earner, there are so many ways to earn additional money on this site. Think of hotel booking sites etc or just advertising. People who take out function rooms usually want catering, balloons, entertainment etc.

The reason im selling is that i have recently passed my last exam to become a mortgage advisor so will be concentrating on my career now rather than website.

do venue owners/managers pay for a listing?

what are the perks for them posting with you?
