See that picture? It will be used on a web site. When the user mouseovers it, I want something to "play" on the screen. The very short animation that will play has to come from a movie, ideally a science-fiction movie. If you don't have any better idea, take a small part of Mars Attack! Some ideas : 01 - 02 - 03 - 04 (this one would be very good I think!). Be creative! This will be an animated gif, the animation will last for +/- 2-5 seconds only and may loop or only be played once, as you wish. I don't need any HTML or javascript, only the image. I'd like the animation to blend nicely with the tv screen. Bonus points if you make it looks at little bit "old", as the television unit itself... But that is not mandatory. It can be black and white or it can contain colors, as you wish. 20$ | 48h If I like the result I will probably ask a couple of them from you very soon! Ideally, I'd like the animation to be picked at random between a couple of them each time the user mouseovers. Thanks!
There is no mouseover/hover state in gif animations, so the television will play all the time, not only when I hover the mouse over it. I can do it in flash without a problem, but using a gif image is impossible.
Hi, I do know what an animated gif is! I'll write, by myself, the javascript code required to handle the mouseover and change the image to the animated version... So I only need the animated gif. Thanks!
Hi. Here is my entry. I can adjust it to totally fit your needs. Please review it. If you wish I can remove the brightscreen splash between the loops.
Very nice!! I do like the brightscreen splash between the loops actually! #1 and #3 are my favorites.
If you can tell me which scenes can I include from this movie or another I will create a few more gifs.
Very nice. Maybe a littler bit less dark? I know I asked for sometimes looking "old", but I'd like to see one lighter, more clear. I want it to be very easy to see what the movie is.
Very nice again. Let's see how this contest goes, but if it's fast for you to create those kind of animations, I would probably need a bunch (not for 20$ each though!).
No problem, we can discuss about the price. We can find out something which one works for both of us!
@tata668 : Here is my entry for the contest. (Animation Size <100 KB, loads like cheese!) Feedback appreciated. Regards
Hi. I made some major colour adjustments. Now the animations are much brighther while I kept the old, vintage movie effect on them. Hope you like it better. I can slice the animation into 5 scenes as I did on the older versions, but this is a preview of how it will look like the final render. Other than this: I made a few gif optimizations, and the output file size will be less than 100kb for every scene. The gif images will load blazing fast and when you mouseover the cursor above the television it will play instantly.
Wow guys, all your entries are very good!! It's true that the size matters though. Those images will also be displayed on mobiles devices so they need to load fast.
