I have built over 40 of these sites for people. Usually I make the site and then sell it, but I get requests for sites on various subjetcs. I am now offering to do these on ANY topic you chose: finance, insurance, mortgage, cancer, cars, animals, people, places, hobbies.. pretty much ANY topic! PM me for a list of my prior works. Your site will be subscribed to several RSS feeds for the news. It will pings Google automatically each time the feeds are updated. That means that each time new posts are placed on the blog it pings Google and tells Google there is a new post. It's the "blog and ping" strategy. It is a very effective way of letting a search engine know you have new content. Every day the site builds archived content. So it it adding pages every day, and it is all relevant content. There are built in sitemaps and RSS feeds as well. The site runs itself! Slick AdSense intergration. All you need to do is drive traffic and you will benefit from a great AdSense clickthrough. My other automated sites bring in AdSense CTR's in the double digits. The site will keep adding content every time it updates. By having fresh AND relevant content and pinging Google with new posts it will help get you out of the Google sandbox quickly. At the same time it will build pages and pages of archived content. Can be set up to update as often as you like, but I would not recommend more than once every 4-6 hours to conserve server resources. If you market this site well, you will have a good money maker on your hands. I have built a number of these sites for people, and all have been very happy with the results and my support. One of my automated sites became a PR6 after only 6 months. Most end up being PR3 or PR4 with no work on your part. I just thought I would offer my services as many people would prefer to focus on promoting a site rather than development. The sites would be fully built and will update itself. I will install it on your server as part of the deal. HOWEVER, I will not install any sites on GoDaddy or 1&1... they are too problematic.
