Semiologic is the most powerful package available to develop a wordpress based blog PERIOD! But I must say that it is worth price tag it offers, however not all of us can afford this. So I propose to give you a work around to this problem. How? Well semiologic 5 is available as a FREE download also. Really then why the price tag? Well hold on there, let me explain…. Semiologic 5 is a make up of a theme and and a whopping 50+ plugins. Now the theme is available as a free download, however without all the plugins and with some restrictions. But the plugins for the semiologic 5 theme are all actually available for free for the wordpress CMS. The package provides these plugins along with the theme and support. What I am proposing to do here is provide the Semiologic Theme and the 50+ plugins and not just that actually install all of these to your wordpress installation for the price of £25 ($50) that’s a whopping saving of $245. What if any are the limitations? There are a couple sections in the pro theme that the free one won't let you access, such as the SEO section. This is easily remedied though by getting a similar plugin. In fact, the plugin found and included does even better. Here is a screen shot of the plugins to be installed: You need to have a wordpress 2.3 (minimum) installation and provide a temporary FTP access to you wordpress install. Although the theme will be activate and then reversed back to its original (which you can change later) the plugins will not be activated, these will have to be done according to which one you need activation. Most of the support can be found at the semiologic website and forums and site, so you would be ok. I can offer some support as I have installed this many times over the years. Here is my first review from RAD1, really pleased with it: "We had been looking at semiologic pro as a system to explore for getting into affiliate marketing -- or rather adding onto some of our strategies and for starting a new project (like a brand new little baby just starting out). Now, we might and probably will very likely eventually upgrade to the full version -- after getting the hang of what it's all about in order to get the full inner workings -- but the full version is VERY expensive ($295). iNet provided me with the perfect solution -- a 'lite' version if you will -- that is packed with practically all of the Sem-pro plugins (we will have to pay the full cost of $295 to get the total member's access and complete member's interface, but that's a steep hill and major outlay for a newbie especially who hasn't made any real bucks yet from aff marketing and who is early in the process of learning). BUT -- compare that to about $50 (USD) and iNet does the full plugin installation for you -- he has the full pack of the same or similar plugins that are all the free ones, except for the member's interface components as he forthrightly states -- the ones he has for this pack are 'free' and 'out there' somewhere, but how many freekin hours would it take to track down all those things? Even if you could find them all? Well inet has the perfect solution and major time saver. As soon as I sent him the funds via PP, within a few short hours it was all installed and ready to go (there is a time diff btwn USA & UK, so that might affect things a bit; but it was overnight; all done the next morning when I got up!) Plus, iNet is a cool guy -- he was very patient and knowledgeable and very polite and helpful andanswered all my questions in detail (even the stupid ones that probably most people here who already know more tech stuff wouldn't need to ask). Well, I don't know if this is the right kind of review or not, but I feel this was an excellent investment and it seems clear to me iNet is very knowledgeable in this area, he apparently knows programming or coding related things too, and seems to know about successfully making money online and other types of helpful info (he fixed the HTACCESS file for us too). I am happy to provide iNet with the highest recommendation for the Semiologic Pro 5 (special iNet 'lite' version) pack. It is an excellent investment and a A+++ transaction. thank you."
