full or short link

    what is better?
    if in my website I write a short link or a link with the full url?

    for instance, if my page is page.html what is better:
    a. <a href="page.html">link</a>
    b. <a href="http://www.mywebsite.com/page.html">link</a>

    The second gives you control over whether or not people visit the www. version of your site or the http://domainname.com version of your site.
