    I'm not sure. If it isn't then Google could be a bunch of trouble. Then again, with all the filesharing going on I'm not sure how they could really hurt Google.

    copyright infringement is a serious issue and that is why google never supported music files(unlike altavista). I am sure that it is illegal but nothing can be done against Google(and why should...). It's the person who is uploading and the person who are watching it are violating laws. Anyway there are other ways of uploading huge files other than Google.

    That's not true, remember kaaza and other file sharing software maker companies were successfully sued in similar situations, so why not google!

    It seems that http://www.freewebs.com/hindilivemovies/ posted the movie - and have this on the top of their page

    "GUYS IF U WANNA STOP MY SITE FROM FREZZING PLS I REQUEST CLICK ON ADS ON THE TOP OF EVRY PAGE TWICE A DAY N THE ADS U SEE WHEN U COME IN. THNXZ IN ADVANCE"

    If it is a bollywood movie, it would be protected by copyright laws.

    As to if google could be sued, I'm sure if there are repeat instances of this, especially if it is a mainstream hollywood movie, some hard nose lawyer may want to try.

    hmm thats new for me :| ... didnt know videos and mp3s can be uploaded through google ... i know only the other uploading services such as rapidshare etc etc ...

    How can videos be uploaded though ? i cannot find out in video.google.com
