Full guide to SEOing a Wordpress Template

Hey guys, I've been using Wordpress for a while now (almost 3 years), great platform easy to use and already pretty good out of the box for SEO.

This guide is for people that want to completely optimize their Wordpress template. If you are familiar with CSS, it should take you less than a hour to do. In addition, I will be putting up a guide on all the best Wordpress SEO plugins.

It is an interesting list. Much more substance than I normally run across. It seems your emphasis is mostly on titles, which I have found in my own experimentation, to be an excellent place to start. I'm going to study your suggestions, possibly implement some of your suggestions, and see what I come up with. I will let you know of my results.

Also, I think a very nice addition to your suggestions, would be a discussion of coordinating Page titles and Headers with keywords that appear in the domain name. I have found this to be very important in SEO - though I know others disagree. It largely depends upon content and domain name.

Thanks for the list, and I will get back to you. I am lucky that I have a domain where I very quickly get feedback on any changes I make.

Thanks for the suggestion, originally I set out to just make an guide/site on how to SEO your Wordpress, never really planned on giving out regular SEO tips (which is kind of what you're suggesting). But if there's a lot of interest on topics like you mentioned above, I will write one.
