Sad to say.. there is no real alternative to PayPal...maybe moneybookers. PP is just like the big G...they can screw us anyway they want. Maybe only deal with PP verified members. And transfer out your money as soon as it hits the minimum sum.

Here sign up for www.revolutionmoney.com. No gimmicks. And you can get a $25 sign up bonus. Same verfication as Paypal using your bank account verification. If anything sign up and you can transfer the 25 to your account to make up the difference or to set it off.

Thanks lpstong; nice plug for yet another online payment service.

When will there be a REAL contender that knocks EBAY down to size? They killed PayPal for sure and nobody seems to have the balls and business savvy to replace what PayPal originally started. Too bad for some VC who could make a fortune by investing in the right PayPal killer ;-)

Your welcome. And some people thought that Google checkout would do it. I guess not enough momentum as of yet from the Google Gods to push this through.

LOL ... who's going to trust Google more than PayPal. I guess what you are correctly stating is that the payment processing space has become too competitive for a new entrant to be successful in providing a successful service that competes with PayPal. Sad state of affairs though :-(

No one :) , but at least with real competition, Paypal would have to worry twice about losing clients to Google when they are terminating users.

Thanks WT; good thinking as usual. Only thing is that Google will disown you for even looking at another site, let alone linking to one. So what is their AUP going to do if you use their checkout for anything other than buying and selling, say, Webkinz? Link to another site after giving it a review per Yahoo Directory editorial guidelines ... and have the buyer pay you with Google Checkout? Hmmmm .... doesn't seem likely to work unfortunately.

The only reason I'm using Paypal is because I don't have any other choice. I'd wish we would all stop using paypal one day and stop this madness. Paypal can really be unreasonable most of the time. They do these things to your account because they just want to!
