You can not dispute a transaction for "Goods/Services" successfully; PeePee really only gives a sh*t about Ebay transactions anyway.

From what I know Services will be tough to dispute but not with the case for Physical goods.

My bad wisdomtool; you are correct that transactions for goods may be disputed, while transactions for services are basically null and void if you try to file a dispute claim. The other party simply closes the case and that's it.

Unless your transaction is related to an Ebay purchase they basically don't care.

Ya, paypal has a problem with their chargeback issues, if someone files a chargeback against you, you will get a negative balance and collection agencies will come after you. Use paypal with discretion.

That's absolutely horrible, but it's not PayPal's fault - it's the scumbag's who scammed you. I hate people like that, and I wish you the best of luck!

Depending on the balance of your account, it may go into the negative. Collection agencies will not even be an immediate threat and depends on the amount owed and the length of time that is has been owed.

Problem is not that many people uses e-gold and getting the cash out of e-gold is quite troublesome as you need to go through an exchanger.

I only use PayPal because other people use PayPal when buying and selling things.
Im on AlertPay as well, but no-one uses them, except that paid to surf site.

You will find that PayPal has some issues, but overall they do rock :)

There must be a reason why paypal allowed the chargeback. What could it be?

PayPal employees are robot idiots. You cannot conclude anything logical about chargebacks or other actions that AUP or other PayPal departments make. If all the people in the world would just start using something else, then finally we could all live without these fools.
