I can remember the good ol' days when all I had to do is to put and ftp address in an address bar and then I would be prompted for a username and password in order to log in. This feature seems to have not been carried over to the latest version of IE. But that is OK, because it still worked in a session of windows explorer. But now I am working with VISTA. I cannot find how to set up the controls do do a simple FTP. Is it possible? Or do I have to end up getting an FTP software package?
FTP software is probably a much better option. Theres a bunch of good free ones out there. I used to use filezilla till I bought a better one.
