ftp server details

    hi,

    I have user name and pasword of a website and else is required to login into FTP.

    what is server or host address.

    how it will be .

    reply urgent plz.

    These are questions to ask you host.

    In any event for FTP there are only a few things you need:

    1. FTP Server Name and or IP, generally ftp.domain.com
    2. Username
    3. Password
    4. FTP Client, unless you are using the command line.

    If you have welcome email from your web hosting provider there are should be IP mentored. Use this IP as FTP hostname

    If DNS are not changed that will not work. better use IP.
