    Yes,filezilla is highly recommended. I have even tried the commercial ones but I still have not found the one that has the simplicity and functionality of Filezilla.

    Another one of interest would be the free ftp software of coffeecup.com quite useful and almost as good as filezilla.

    Filezilla is quite good, though if you are willing the spend money then CuteFTP Pro is the way to go.

    I have never tried any other PTP programs except Smart FTP. Trust me, it's the only one you will ever need.

    Filezilla is best, free(open source) and easy to use FTP program.

    SmartFTP is also cool but not free :(
