FTP help please!

    hi every one .
    i just get hosting with cirtexhosting and lots of dilemas.I have my web site on other free server,im trying to move files and folders thru my ftp program(total comander ) how i should configure ftp program to acces my folders on server.Whatever i try im geting "connection time out" and also where i should move my index.html.I have no idea what to do ?

    unfortunately,my budget for that is 0.
    I belive i can do that my self,i just heed some advice.I have to learn anyways .Btw,does anybody have exepirience with this hosting and/or c panel?

    Have you also tried with winscp ? You should put you index.html in the public_html folder. Hope it helps!

    hello,
    try to use Filezilla, it's open-source and very complete FTP client it's the best ,
    the parameters that you must enter to this program to enter to your ftp space are :
    1 - the ftp adress, like : ftp.yourhoster.com (see you webhoster to know wich adress)
    2- the username
    3- the password
    4- port number : 21 (for ftp)

    then you'll get your files listed so you drag them to local hard drive, then you can trasfer them to other webhoster

    thanks for responding,im ok with ftp login, now im there and i have my index.html,style css and images folder in :"public html" (main) folder but instead my page im getting this :

    www.madprofit.com

    i can't see my page what is wrong?

    It seams your nameservers aren't setup like they should or not at all.
