For sale is one website which really has got only one purpose, getting Vaultage so other websites gain links. It has it's own account in LV, making the sale easy as the Vaultage is already there. All you have to do is merge and close the account and move it over to yours, immediate use of the Vaultage.

Subdomains consists of html pages which uses php includes for layout, main domain is a blog using b2evolution, but that only consists of about 18 pages and the LV code is currently not used on those pages.

Website received it's PR by 2 links from other owner, I recently bought 2 PR4 sitewides for one year at $10/year and a PR6 sitewide at $25 per 3 months. Therefore PR should at least be stable and would probably go up.

When renting Vaultage rate would be $0.025 per Vaultage per month, ie 15.000 x $0.025 = $375 per month

Normal value of website is 10-12 times it's monthly revenue, therefore BIN is set at $3500.

This is an auction which ends in a little less that 2 days, 02jun06.

Domain will be sold through escrow.com, escrow fees will be paid by me if sold for BIN, otherwise the costs will be evenly split.

Is vaultage suffering the same issues as coop weight at the moment? ie if your pages go supplemental in google do you lose the vaultage?

I honestly don't know, this specific website has no supplementals at all and have never given it much thought when dealing with my sites in the Vault.

I have a website with 15,000+ indexed pages and a PR4 that was only worth 71 Vaultage because most of the pages are supplemental. I think LinkVault is suffering the same problem as DP, namely that it and the co-op are currently ignoring cached supplemental results.

 

Agreed... it is only a matter of time for the sites in LV to start loosing vaultage also

They are also depending on Google, so it is logical for vaultage to go down soon

 

Given the "speed" of Linkvault it'll be a while. However their method is different. They check individual pages, so if you have a page already counting for vaultage it might be weeks or months before the bot comes round again (the same as gaining Vaultage which is very slow). Also, they don't use the site: command, they check the cache for individual pages. So it's possible the bugs in site: won't affect them.

In addition, supplemental pages can be cached. I dunno their weighting algorithm, whether they grade supplemental differently from regular, but it seems to me the large and sudden Coop weight drops are somewhat less likely in Linkvault.
