    Hey folks,
    I want to sell this domain name with a dead forum:

    It was part of an experiment I did in the summer. Basically, I purchased adwords and tried to drive traffic to the forum. It worked, however, I stopped the next month and the traffic died. Not many posts. 116 members. Looking to sell cheap:

    Looks like about 100 of those members are just spambots (hate those things)...

    I'll bit $25 . I like the forum template, was it free or did you pay to get it done?

    lol sukantab, no not you at all!

    spambot = spammers using bots to register for forums around the net with their url and sometimes even make post. Basically trying to get huge backlinks. It's annoying as hell if you have ever run a forum...especially phpbb.

    Anyway, out of the 116 members this site has, it looks like around 100 are fake members (spambots) that have just been hitting the site while inactive. The spammer asses probably just share forum list and all go crazy hitting them all or something.

    Now I understand, recently, I bought a PR4 forum and suddenly the member count rose high day by day with no posts...
