Site was originally setup to sell prepaid visa cards, but because I had some issues with the supplier I decided to no longer sell them. I did sell about 10 cards last year, but couldn't deliver any because the supplier had issues. I can still put you into contact with him as things have been sorted out now. Last month I received my card, so you could start selling them again.

You can buy the card from seller for $35 and I sold them for $59, but this is entirely up to you. You can set any margin you feel comfortable with. Either you provide the supplier with all details of the customer and the supplier will send cards directly to your customers or you can buy the cards in bulk from supplier and send cards to customers yourself.

Traffic has been pretty stable all around, not big traffic, but the payout for prepaid cards is pretty high for Adsense so with a little effort there is big potential.

The Adsense income used to be higher and the only reason for that was that I played around with the placement. You can see the stats for yourself above, mind the page impressions stayed the same but earnings have decreased.

Biggest earning potentials are from selling the cards obviously. As you can see in the stats, http://www.prepaidvisacreditcard.com/sales/webalizer-apr-files.jpg, 224 people clicked on the purchase card link. The form is not working and therefore is a 404, for which there were 599 hits in april. That is not to say there are no other 404's, but it may give you an idea as to how many people give their details to sign up for the card. If I remember correctly, I had about 10 people a week who were interested in the card.

what caused the adsense income going down? and will links to this site stay up after the sale?

 

First site had no adsense, only relied on selling prepaid cards. When I had some issues with supplier I added the adsense code and because I no longer sold those cards I had a notice onpage saying so and put the content down the page.

Effectively this meant that the visitors saw the excuse line + adsense above the fold as the content was pushed down. Therefore more people were inclined to click on the ads.

All links are none paid, none reciprocal. All links are from directories, so yes, all links will stay put.
